The effects of assertive communication training on communication skills of adolescents with online game users

The behavior of playing online games has the risk causing problems for adolescents' developmental age, which is social relationship to addiction. Good communication skills can facilitate adolescents in assertive interpersonal relationships prevent from game problems. This study aims determine effect training on who play games. Methods: applied a quasi-experimental pre-post test with control group. research respondents were selected using stratified, proportional, and simple random sampling techniques. 76 comprised this study, divided into two groups. respondents’ inclusion criteria aged 15–16 years old had played at least last 12 months. Results: intervention group increased after implementing (p less than 0.05), contrast this, not implementation more 0.05). Conclusion: Assertive be used as therapy nursing services improve protect addiction due gaming activities.
